The AWCMS Kids Alliance also
performed the Faux Paw skit at the Tune
In To Kids fair in Reno, which was
attended by an estimated 12,000 parents
and children. Now in its 3rd year, the
hands-on fair focuses on promoting
interactive family experiences, as well as
health and safety for children. A Faux Paw
"quiz" and handout materials were
distributed at the AWCMS health booth
and storybooks/CDs were donated for use
as prizes.
AWCMS has previously distributed Faux
Paw materials to each elementary
computer lab in the district, private
schools, every public library, community
family resource centers, hospital waiting
rooms, and local physicians' offices where
children might be in reception areas.
